About Me

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan, currently pursuing a PhD in political science, concentrating on international political economy—in particular, public opinion and national security issues in international trade. I earned a master's degree in political science at Michigan in April 2021.

I'm also a flight attendant for American Airlines, finishing training in February 2023 as Class 23-02.

I am currently working on two survey experiments to determine Americans' level of concern about issues relating to dependence on international trade, and what Americans see as ideal solutions to the issue. I also serve as a research assistant for the brand new Rackham Strategic Evaluation and Assessment Team (R-SEAT), analyzing the Rackham Graduate School's programming using various qualitative and quantitative methods.

I'm particularly passionate about student advocacy. I'm pleased to put my talents to work for the students by serving on U-M's Central Student Government (CSG), providing services (like campus-wide The Wall Street Journal  and The New York Times subscription) and advocacy to the administration about important issues to students. I am currently a Member of the Assembly, representing the PhD and academic masters' students on the central legislature.

I spent my undergraduate career at University of California, Riverside in Riverside, California. I graduated cum laude with my bachelor's degree in political science, with a minor in statistics, in June 2018.
